We had similar problems on the 2487 before.
Here is the solution we got from Waters technical service.
Open the cover -> locate the battery inside in the detector (deuterium lamp.)
( the stored lamp data is invalid)
->After changing the battery, the lamp' data need to be reset, ( you could do it manually by using the input/output diagnostics or use the millennium to perform the diagnostics precess. ->
need to re-calibrate again. or power on/off again and press "enter" let the lighting warm up 5 mins.
