In this product specialist sales role, you will be responsible for driving Agilent Technologies'' high-performance LC/MS and automation systems and solutions into Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis accounts in China. You will team with Agilent Account Managers (AM) and Application Engineers (AE), carry quota and be compensated for all high-performance LC/MS and automation sales in the specified geography. You will be expected to develop and implement successful strategies and tactics to sell complex LC/MS based solutions. As such, you will be one of an elite team of specialists driving Agilent''s success in this competitive marketplace.
LC/MS and automation Product Specialist Position Primary Responsibilities:
•Follows up qualified leads from AMs as well as identifies and develops prospects independently.
•Sets sales strategy with AM/AE team.
•Identifies correct solution and ensures customer demo from AE. Works with the Territory AM to close the sales opportunity.
•Provide face-to-face selling presence when directed by AM.
•Utilize technical AE resources appropriately
•Conduct basic product demos and review data results where AE is not needed.
•Look for opportunities to cross-sell products
•Work with marketing team on development and implementation of key marketing programs
•Utilize CRM tools for effective account management.
•Identify and cultivate potential opportunity with existing and new buyers within existing and new accounts.
•Master degree or PhD. in Biology, Chemistry, or Molecular Biology
•Minimum 4 years of mass spectrometry and/or automation solution experience, such as sales, service, application or marketing.
•Rich knowledge on LC/MS and/or automation technologies, products trend and competition
•Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills as well as Interpersonal and Presentation Skills in both Mandarin and English
