中文的“说真格的……”类似,说完这句话,说者就把话题转为严肃的内容。

注:forget him是“别理他!”,而“别理我!”是leave me alone。

注:本句用来当作争论失败得声明,或者用来表示道歉。

注:Bother 意思是阻挠,困扰,或对某人唠叨。To pick on someone是指作
弄人,找人麻烦。
