该检测中心是具有事业法人资格的法定的质量计量检测机构，是中国合格评定国家认可委员会CNAS认可实验室和国际电工委员会IECEE认可的电工产品CB实验室，已成为国内多家知名认证机构的签约实验室，与近20个国外检测机构签署了合作协议，部分检测项目获得了欧盟、北美和IEC等国际权威机构认可。现有3个国家级检测中心，11个省级检测站。

2008年初，该中心检测基地实现了具有历史意义的搬迁整合，现有实验室建筑面积达5.8万平方米，检测设备5000余台套，其中有一批具有国际先进水平的检测设备、环境设施，总资产原值达1.4亿元，法定授权的检测项目超2500项，检测范围覆盖了家电、食品、机械、建材等20几个行业，法定授权的校准项目200多项，计量标准装置10类160多项，已开展的检测校准项目达500多种。中心聘用享受国务院津贴高级人才1名，引进、培养博士4名、硕士30多名、高级专业技术人员33名，中级职称以上技术人员近百名，并建立了国家博士后科研工作站，科研成果硕果累累，综合检测实力达到国内领先水平，部分项目跨入国际先进行列。

在激烈的市场竞争中，该中心仍要坚持 “以专业化为根本，以制度化循规范，以市场化创效益，以国际化促腾飞”的理念，努力把中心建成专业优势明显，技术水平高精，服务功能完备的综合性技术机构，为社会各界提供一流的服务。

Introduction
Supervision Testing Centre of Quality and Metrology is a legal testing body of quality and metrology with cause corporate capacity. It is an accredited laboratory of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), a CB laboratory of International Electrotechnical Commission for Electrical Equipment (IECEE), the contracted laboratory of many well-know certification bodies. It had singed cooperation agreements with 20 foreign testing bodies. Some of the testing items had been accepted by the international testing bodies such as EU, Northern America and IEC. It has three national testing centres and 11 provincial testing stations.

At the beginning of 2008, it relocated at Shishan testing base and achieved integration. Occupying an area of 58000 ㎡,  it has equipment of more than 5000 sets. It’s  total assets of original value is 140 million, and some of the testing equipment and environmental facilities have reached international advanced level. There are 2500 authorized testing items, including 20 industries such as electrical household appliances, food, machinery, building materials. There are 200 calibaration items, and 160 calibration equipment of 10 categories. It undertakes more than 500 testing and calibration types. There are 1 senior talent that enjoys state subsidies, 4 introduced or current doctors, 30 masters, 33 senior professtional technicians, and more than 100 technicians that above intermediate title. It has a national post-doctoral scientific research station, with countless research achievements. The comprehensive testing strength reaches the national leading level, and some testing items are among international advanced level.
