· Test, repair and calibration of machines at customersite in the south China area
· Provide installation, start-up, commissioning andtraining at customer site
· Perform functional confirmation, test and repair at customer site as required by service or maintenance contract
· Provide customers with telephonesupport for start-up or trouble shooting
· Solicit new opportunity preventativemaintenance (PM) contract and renewal contract sales with minimal supervision
· Submit Field Service Reports and Travel expensesaccurately and in a timely manner
· Positions demand heavy travel andoperate in a decentralized structure.
· Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
Position Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical orElectrical preferred)
· 7+ years experience in Technical Service of importedelectronic and mechanical equipment or Instrumentation, preferably with a MNC company
· Experience of reading and deciphering schematics or engineering diagrams
· Communication skills are technically oriented requiringminimal collaboration and focus is on problem solving client needs.
· Business acumen within work environments that deliverhigh levels of customer service to its client base.
· Previous work experience within fast-paced, multi taskwork environments
· Demonstrated mathematical aptitude involving practicalalgebraic and statistical methodologies applicable to problem solving needs forclients.
· Previous job experience that requires extensive travelbetween work locations and remote sites and adherence to a company’s travelpolicy guidelines.
· Past work experience working with high voltage equipmentand electrical devices.
· Past work related experiences must demonstrate theability to troubleshoot and solve problems within technical expertise.
· Capable of performing as a decision maker, making independent decision within policies and procedures and standard guidelines around defined scope of responsibility.
