On Aug 29, 2006 at around 11:30am, an operator in mechnical area wanted to perform a gas welding for a part of mechnical tool, he had no ignition resource on his hand and asked another operator who is perfoming burnish operation nearby to give him the lighter. The operator got off the gloves and took out the lighter, moved the lighter close to the gas welding torch and ignite the gas torch, the gas was flaming and the flame contacted with the operator's finger. The operator qucikly went to flush his finger using clean water for about 5 min and then reported to his supervisor. The production group leader and site EHS was also informed immediately and they were presented at the scene at once. The operator was asked to keep flushing the wound for another 5 min and then he was sent to nearest hospital for check. In the hospital, he recieved a first aid of disinfection on his wounded finger, after the treatment, he came back for work.
