裂解和气相色谱联用的方法在高聚物研究，高聚物添加剂测试中的应用非常广泛，但作为标准方法应用却不是很多，下面是一些应用裂解气相色谱联用的方法测试高聚物和添加剂的标准方法。

高聚物分析的主要集中在橡胶，而添加剂测试的方法也只是最近才有，比如ASTM D7823-13测定PVC中的邻苯二甲酸酯类物质，IEC 62321中也是推荐裂解作为筛选方法来测定聚合物中的邻苯二甲酸酯类物质。

裂解要作为常规的聚合物添加剂或限制物质测试的方法，需要解决的主要问题：

1.样品均匀性问题

2.系统抗污染

3.检出限
