2007年5月7日，第39届国际食品法典农药残留委员会（CCPR）会议在中国北京召开。搞农残的大概不会不知道CCPR吧？当然一定会知道CAC。
国际食品法典委员会（CAC）是负责实施联合国粮农组织（FAO）和世界卫生组织（WHO）联合食品标准计划的政府间国际组织，被世界贸易组织（WTO）确认为三个农产品及食品国际标准化机构之一，食品法典标准被认可为国际农产品及食品贸易仲裁的依据。CCPR是CAC下属的10个综合主题委员会之一，也是CAC重点关注的委员会。CCPR制定的农药残留限量标准几乎涉及所有种植、养殖农产品及其加工制品。
我国2006年申请成为CCPR主持国，CCPR秘书处设在农业部农药检定所内。
