Compare to HPLC, UPLC provide high resolution, high separation effciency, since the BEH column with 1.7um particle size, for the conventional mode of hplc, the particle size mostly around 5um and the UPLC pump can stand with 15000psi, the peak capacity is higher and resolving power is much better. then most important is the buffer used and the sample should be cleaned as possible to prevent blocking the column and damage for the pump
