Sample 3 - EN71-3
Metals Analysis of Material (Application of EN71-3)

For EN71-3 testing a section of material has been provided. Please test for metals content as stated in

EN71-3: 1995. Report your results expressed as mg/kg to 2 decimal places. Report both the uncorrected

and corrected values for this sample.

Important information

1) Ensure the entire piece of material supplied is taken for analysis.

2) Calculations for analysis are to be on a sample mass of 0.1g.

3) When performing the final calculations 0.1g must be used as the mass of material taken.

4) DO NOT perform any calculations based upon the actual weight of material supplied.

Metals required: Antimony, Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium, Lead, Mercury and Selenium.

Metals Analysis of Standard Solution (Application of EN71-3)

Assess the standard solution provided and report all metal results as mg/L to 2 decimal places. All results

are to be entered as the uncorrected values.
