about 误差
误差表明它的范围在10%以内
如果仪器是准确测量或是准确称量，那么它们分别的标尺是体积或者重量和平衡。

关于误差
误差代表它的值在真值的10%以内
如果仪器是标明精确测量或是精确称量，那么这个标记代表它们分别按照一般章节的陈述量器<31>，重量和平衡<41>。

没想到大家把about译成了误差，这个词在这里其实是它最常用的意思：大约

举个例子吧：美国药典（USP）中类似于下面的句子是非常常见的，
Transfer about 100 mg of XXXX, accurately weighed, to a 100-mL volumetric flask.

“About” indicates a quantity within 10%.

根据这句话的意思，我们在称样的时候称量范围应该是90-110mg之间。所以它的意思其实与中国药典是完全一样的

“About” indicates that the allowable deviation to a quantity is to be within 10%.

若量度是指定为“精确量度”或“精确称量”, 则应分别遵从第31章《Volumetric Apparatus》及第41章Weights and Balances的条文(操作)。
