umproving the SPE里的umproving是不是打错了?应该是improving吧?

我是这么理解的(如果句子最末是improving the SPE的话):
可以用比改进SPE简单得多的方法来改进校准程序,但这同样毫无意义。

我的理解:(umproving假如应该是improving的话)
同样值得注意的是,通过比改进SPE简单得多的方法即可实现对校准程序的改进。

The quantitation was done by a calibration
curve. The recovery was 87G4% for three assays, whereas repeatability
of 10 replicate measurements was only 1 to 2%. A detailed error
analysis [3] showed that 75% of the uncertainty came from the SPE step and
the rest came from the analytical procedure. Of the latter, 24% was attributed
to uncertainty in the calibration, and the remaining 1% came from the
variation in serum volume. It is also worth noting that improvement in the

simpler than those required for improving the SPE. The variability in
SPE can come from the cartridge itself, the washing, the extraction, the
drying, or the redissolution steps. There are too many variables to control.
