In the WHA, the Representatives of Mainland China and the Observers from Taiwan under the name “Chinese Taipei” presented in the same meeting. I therefore believe that “Chinese Taipei” is acceptable to the official of Mainland China.

According to the information available, the following translations seem to be acceptable:
(1) 在中国的全国性组织以中国的名义参加的情况下 : “中国台北”(TAIPEI，CHINA)或“中国台湾”(TAIWAN，CHINA) [Accepted by the official of Mainland China]
(2) 国际上 : “Chinese Taipei” (中译“中华台北”? 台湾官方似乎不接纳“中国台北”) [Accepted by the officials of both of Mainland China and Taiwan]
