TEM is the abbreviation of  Transmission Electron Microscopy or Microscope. I would like keep the other two expressions for other guys.

AFM is the Atomic force microscopy ~is it right?

Haha, Mr Shxie, it's not specially desighed for you, because I'm an operator of SEM and  will be an operator of TEM! I'm admiring you as you were the moderator of SEM since several years ago!
