Two days ago, I went to see the doctor, after we discuss my illness, the doctor suggest I eat Chinese medicine. Because of the doctor often give me westren medicine. So I want to eat westren medicine. Have you even eat Chinese medicine? How do you think of Chinese medicine?
It has been proved that TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is effective for many deceases; however, the quality of herbs is doubtful sometimes because of the pollution of environment, corruption in medical administration etc.
I would prefer to eat Chinese medicine. If the quality could be guaranteed. For the medicine reseach and productiong, I am not familiar with that, just hope this field could have our own original creation ability instead of monotonically copy.
You will be alright. Chinese medicine is great, but it probably won't make to the US/Euro market since everything has to be fully tested before release. It's actually quite strange, since I am a firm believer of modern science, but I also believe in the less clear, or fuzzy idea of Chinese medicine. Anyway, good luck and take it easy!
From a post written by happyjyl, I learnt a term “administration of medicine”. There are several routes of administration, i.e. Oral, Sublingual, Rectal, Topical and Parenteral (http://www.nursingtimes.net/nursing-practice/clinical-specialisms/prescribing/the-administration-of-medicines/288560.article ). I am not sure whether “taking medicine” means oral administration of medicine, the professionals in pharamacy such as happyjyl, hyheying are welcomed to advise.
