Job Title:Senior Chemist – LC

Responsibilities:
Perform environmental analysis using Liquid Chromatography (LC) with UV/Vis, PDA, RI, Fluorescence, MS/MS Triple Quad, and MS-TOF detection
Oversee and maintain the operation of Liquid Chromatography (LC) instrumentations with UV/Vis, PDA, RI, Fluorescence, MS/MS Triple Quad, and MS-TOF detection capabilities including troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, calibration, and repairs
Conduct review of scientific, governmental, or other literature in order to maintain and improve laboratory knowledge/skill and identify appropriate analytical techniques for projects/studies
Design, develop, conduct and/or review experiments including method development and method transfer to support analytical analysis
Act as scientific, regulatory, technical or quality expert and consultant by responding to targeted questions from the field or other departments/business units and providing support to branches, bottlers, and customers.  This includes acting as a consultant for other technical personnel in the Company
Provide leadership including cross training and technical development to the Quality Analyst and other laboratory associates
Organize workflow and task schedules to maximize laboratory efficiency
Perform data audits in order to ensure accuracy of data and analytical processes which may include database queries, statistical process control, correlation studies, notebook review, and/or traceability exercises
Participate in the laboratory quality system activities such as internal audits, writing standard operating procedures, and documentation review
Record data from analyses or experiments in a computer, log book, or laboratory notebook
Prepare samples for analysis

Requirements:

Bachelor degree on chemistry or higher
At least 8 years of analytical working experience in a laboratory and at least 4 years on LCMS
Good Chinese/English Communication Skills

Functional Skills:

Be good at using SPC tools to monitor daily operation, analyze adverse trends, and compare process/equipment differentiation, etc
Be expert on GC/MS application and interpretation–    Be familiar with metrology and apply for daily use
Be familiar with method validation and verification, and its application in GC/MS methods
Be competent on GLP, ISO/IEC17025, and etc–    Be strong at trouble-shooting and problem solving
