The application and research of controlled atmosphere storage in preserving fresh technology of fruits and vegetables

Abstract From the development and principle of the technology of preserving fresh about controlled atmosphere, the paper mainly analyses its characteristics, such as long storage time and high nutritional value, and mostly introduces the interrelated facilities including producing nitrogen (reducing oxygen),adjusting carbon dioxide, eliminating ethene and so on. On the base of artificial refrigeration, we can control these facilities automatically. It is achieved to control atmosphere for prolonging storage life of the vegetables and fruits. So it will provide some references about the application of this technology.
