5. Unless a reference standard label bears a specific potency or content, assume the reference standard is 100.0% pure in the official application.
6. Unless otherwise directed in the procedure in the individual monograph or in a general chapter, USP Reference Standards are to be used in accordance with the instructions on the label of the Reference Standard.
