What kind of professional English did you learn or do you apply?
My major is analytical chemistry, I learned chemistry English in university. I focus on chemical analysis in my work, so I have to read some instrumental manual, SOP, references or write some report every day. How about you?
You're so early today, jimzhu. My major is physics and now I work as an operator of SEM now. The operating system and softwares are all English, so is the operation manual, but there are not much in common with my major physics. The instrument emphasizes on application and uses physical theories about electromagnetism.
My major is chemical engineer but I didn't learn professional english,just common courage english,but If I could study again,I would study hard,expecially english,it is very important to my daily job.
My major is applied chemitry,I didn't leare professional English during in university.I learn English in class and by read English professional documents.I believe English is very important.
