A study was conducted to determine some physico-chemical properties of the test material. The freezing point was less than -25 C according to EEC Method A1. The boiling point/boiling range was 301.5 to 309.5 C at 1010 mbar according to EEC Method A2. The relative density (D420) was 0.98591 according to EEC Method A3. The vapour pressure was 1.5 Pa at 25 C according to EEC Method A4. The surface tension was 54.7 mN/m for a 90% saturated aqueous solution at 19.5 C according to EEC Method A5. The water solubility was 1.1 x 10(-2) g/l at 20 C according to EEC Method A6. The partition coefficient was Log P >3.66 at 21 C according to EEC Method A8. The flash point was 144.5 C according to EEC Method A9. The flammability (in contact with water ) was not flammable under the test conditions according to EEC Method A12. The pyrophoric properties of liquids and solids according to EEC Method A13 = not pyrophoric under test conditions. The explosive properties according to EEC Method A14 = no explosive under test conditions. Autoignition temperature (liquids and gases) was 240 C according to EEC Method A15.
