Cleaning the optics
The cell area contains several delicate optical devices that require special cleaning procedures. These devices are:
Protection window
Backscatter detectors
Lens
Dust on the surfaces of the devices can be removed using a compressed gas duster can. Keep the can upright while in use to prevent liquid emerging. Alternatively use a specialist camera lens brush. If a brush is used avoid handling the bristles as grease from fingers will be transferred to the optics. If the cleanliness of the brush is in doubt, rinse it in ethanol and let it dry before using it.
Caution!
Do not wipe the devices with an ordinary dry cloth as this will cause scratches. Always use the procedure below to clean the surfaces.
Inspect the devices by reflected light and see if there are any smears or prints on them. If so then you must wipe their surfaces using the following guidelines.
Breathe on the surface of the device to wet it.
Use a good quality lens tissue and gently wipe it over the wetted surface once. Do not put your fingers on the device during this wipe. re-inspect and if still marked, then repeat with another clean tissue.
If this does not eliminate the mark, then consider the use of a liquid cleaner such as Ethanol Absolute or Propan-2-ol. This can be soaked on a cotton wool bud and wiped across the device gently. Use one pass over the device and then discard to avoid scratching. Re-inspect and repeat until clean.
All optical devices outlined above should be inspected for cleanliness every day.

对着元件表面呵气使它潮湿;
使用质量好的镜头纸,一次性轻轻地在湿面上擦拭,在擦拭过程中,不要将手指放在设备上,如观察还有污点,用另一张干净镜头纸在擦一次;
如果这样仍不能消除污点,考虑用液体清洁液如Ethanol Absolute 或 Propan-2-ol来清理。将柔软地羊毛制品浸透清洁液,然后轻轻地擦拭,只擦一次避免划痕,再观察并重复直到清洁;
每天都应该对以上所提到地光学元件进行清洁度检查;
只是不知道 Propan-2-ol是什么“东东”!
