Mosley等人在实验仓内测量了单分散相颗粒物对狭窄的水平裂缝(高0.508mm,深102 mm,宽433 mm)的穿透因子,得到了不同压差下2微米和5微米的颗粒物的穿透因子,2微米的为0.02~0.90,5微米的颗粒也始终都小于1[26]。 De-Ling Liu和Nazaroff利用实验仓模拟了颗粒物通过窗户的穿透因子,发现0.2~3微米的颗粒物可以有效地通过窗户缝隙进入室内,而其它粒径的颗粒物则绝大部分被围护结构过滤掉了[27]。
3 讨论和建议
从以上论述中可以看出,尽管大量的实验和理论研究为进一步研究颗粒物的穿透因子打下了一定的基础,但是不同研究人员得到的结果存在很大差异。出现这些差异,一方面是因为房屋和实验条件不同;另一方面,因为穿透因子并不能通过测量直接得到,而是根据质量平衡模型计算出来,主要以室内外颗粒物浓度和实验或模拟得到的沉积率作为模型参数,导致穿透因子对沉积率有很强的依赖性。而这两个物理参数通常是同一个数量级,并且几乎是同时作用于颗粒物的。因此,得到沉积率的方法对穿透因子的影响非常大。而换气速度也同时影响着所测得的沉积率,所以沉积率和穿透因子是相互关联的。如果没有更科学的测量方法或技术来有效地分离沉积率和穿透因子对室内颗粒物浓度的影响,要得到准确的颗粒物的沉积效率,就有必要在所采用的模型中引入一个合适的相关性系数,从而使不同的研究得到一致的结论。由于大部分的研究都没有考虑沉积率对穿透因子影响,目前还不能确定两者的相关性系数的范围。
由于模型所关注的是建筑围护结构对颗粒物的过滤作用,所以考虑的是只存在渗透风时室内颗粒物的浓度变化。而在实际应用中,为了改善室内空气品质,很多时候都采用了HVAC系统或自然通风。采用自然通风时,无论是在室内环境中还是在穿透建筑围护结构过程,沉降仍是颗粒物减少的主要方式,而换气速度的改变导致室内空气流速改变,从而沉降速度也随之变化。而且采用自然通风使大量颗粒物未经围护结构的过滤直接进入室内,使围护结构对颗粒物的过滤作用大大减弱。由于我们最终关心的是人们所处的室内环境中颗粒物浓度对人体健康的影响,而不是在只有渗透风的特殊环境,所以在模型中还应该考虑自然通风或HVAC系统等因素的影响。
4 结论
大气颗粒物质量浓度与人体发病率和死亡率的显著相关性已经引起了世界各国政府和相关研究机构、研究人员的高度重视,已经开展了大量的实验和理论研究。然而室内环境是人们颗粒物暴露的主要场所,而且室内外颗粒物浓度水平处于同一数量级。由于没有条件直接对室内环境进行监测,因此建立合适的数学模型,根据室外监测数据和其它相关情况来预测室内颗粒物浓度和粒径分布将可能是一种好的研究途径。而对穿透因子和沉积率的研究是这种预测方法的关键之所在。根据预测出的室内颗粒物污染状况,就可以制定出科学的控制策略和控制标准及合理有效的控制方法,改善室内空气品质,从而减轻室内环境中颗粒物对人体健康的危害。
